Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in the church and baptised at the age of 9. However I did not receive a testimony until I was 19 .

About Me

I worked at Hughes Aircraft Co. for 40 years as an aerospace engineer. I Designed the Receiver For the Radar Subsystem in the F-14; F-15; & F18; Aircraft. I have been a Group Head, Section Head, Engineering Manager and Project Manager. I have been Married for 51 years, have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. My hobbies are model trains, and cars. I have a pilots certificate and a flew Piper Archer and a Cessna 172SP for several years.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mother was converted in Hamberg Germany and raised me and my 2 Brothers and Sister in the church. My Father was a Luthren and joined the church when he was 50 years of age. Although I was raised in the church and baptised at the age of 9, I really gain my own testimony of the truthfulness of the church when I was 19. Through a lot of study, and investigating other churches, I became converted. I have a strong testimony of the the church and it's teachings, I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet and that the book of Mormon is true and that the Church is led by a living Prophet today in the person of Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I am very active in our church meeting and activities and have held responsible positions as teaching the youth, hometeaching families, and a Bishop of a congregation. I have been active in our community affairs, serving on the Homeowners associatios and on the local Airport Commission.
