Hi I'm Phil Thomas

I was born in Mt. Clemens, MI. I was in the Air Force for ten years. I am a convert to the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married and the father of seven childern, all of which are adopted. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing catch, basketball and four square with the kids. I've worked in the aerospace industry for the past 16 years and I was in the Air Force for ten and a half years prior to that working as an aircraft mechanic. I enjoy playing racquetball and going to the gym.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. When I was a kid I went to church because that's where my friends were. The Air Force sent me out west and this is where I met my wife. She was a member of the Mormon church. I had the opportunity to talk to several young men who were missionaries from the Mormon church. My wife and I were married civilly until death do we part and four months later after praying and getting a confirmation that what I was being taught was true, I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One year later my wife and I were sealed toghether in the Temple for time and all eternity. That means my family will have the opportunity to be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have been a member for 26 years and have had the opportunity to serve in many various positions in the church. I have taught kids from three to eighteen years old. I am a Home Teacher and enjoy the opportunity to be friends with those I home teach. I try to be a good example to those around me. My Heavenly Father blesses me and my family's life every day. I love my Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is my Savior, my brother and my friend.
