Hi I'm Laura

I'm a wife and a mother. I love being a homemaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom to three little boys. Mothering takes up most of my time, but when I do have a free moment, I love to sew, take pictures, and to read a good book. I love my husband, and enjoy spending time together as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormom because I believe in the Book of Mormon. I feel that I am a happier person with the knowledge that families can be together forever. I believe that my prayers are heard and answered, and that God is real.

How I live my faith

Everyday with family and personal prayer, and scripture study. Monday evenings we have family home evening, we meet together and teach our children about faith, prayer, scripture stories, etc. Then we play a game like Candyland, or go to the park together. On Sunday, we attend church.

What is the Relief Society?

Relief Society is the women's organziation for the church. We meet for 1 hour on Sunday where we have a lesson/discussion taught by another Relief Society member. Everyone can contribute and share experiences they have had, as well as their thoughts. We also typically meet once a month in the evening for other classes taught about homemaking, crafts, money/budgeting or to do service projects together. It is great to meet with a group of women to learn and accomplish things together. Show more Show less
