Hi I'm Milton

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Christchurch NZ, moved to Australia with my family in 1995 and enjoy living in sunny Queensland. I am the oldest of four children, the father of five children and have three grandchildren. My wife (who is also a mormon) and I are now empty nesters and always look forward to when we get the chance to visit with our children/grandchildren who live in Queensland, NSW and Melbourne. Both of us have been married before and between us we have 11 children and 11 grandchildren. As a mature age student I studied and completed a Social Science Degree at University majoring in Counselling and Human Services. I enjoy my work as a full time counsellor and enjoy other interests including: Rugby, playing Golf/Tennis, Tramping (when I get extra time) playing the saxophone and singing. I like to keep fit, exercise regularly and strive to keep myself healthy and active.

Why I am a Mormon

My mum joined the Mormon church when I was about 8 years old and taught me from a young age the importance of prayer. I decided in my late teens that I wanted more in my life and become interested in learning more about the church for myself. After reading the scriptures and praying about these teachings I decided this was what I wanted in my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly, pray, read the scriptures and participate in classes and other meetings. I strive to be an example of my Christian beliefs by being honest, giving service to others and respecting other people's beliefs.
