Hi I'm Lane Mullenaux

I'm a 30 year old guy and feel very fortunate to have been a Mormon my entire life!

About Me

Family is very important to me! I am grateful for a wonderful Mom & Dad who raised me and my 5 siblings as member of the Mormon church. I have an older sister, a twin brother, two younger brothers and a younger sister. I have a construction management degree and work for a large construction company in the water/wastewater infrastructure sector. I love sports, outdoors, helping others, and building pretty much anything!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is my Savior, that my Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us, and that Christ's church has been restored to the earth with a living prophet to lead us, his children. I know that families are central to our Heavenly Father's plan for us and that through keeping the commandments and taking certain steps, I can live with my family forever. Early on in my life I think I was a Mormon because my parents were and going to church was just part of what we did. There was never a single point that I completely made a 180 and all of a sudden had a testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and all of it's doctrines were true. For me it came little by little over a long period of time.

How I live my faith

Since being a member of the church, I have had many voluntary assignments or "callings". Among them, I have worked with the youth (11 year olds) both in a Sunday School type setting at church on Sundays as well as during the week in a Boy Scouts atmosphere. I have also held responsibilities in Elder's Quorum presidencies, young single adult (YSA) committees, and most recently as a Ward Clerk taking care of the administrative duties of a ward. I love being able to serve in and out of my church callings. I strive to keep my life in line with the standards I have been taught and know that obedience to my Heavenly Father's commandments brings me more blessings than I have room to receive. Living the gospel is the source for true joy in my life.
