Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a husband and father. I'm an attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like most people, I live a busy and sometimes stressful life. In addition to my career as a corporate attorney at a large law firm, I am also a bishop in the LDS Church. Between my career and my church responsibilities, I sometimes don't know whether I am coming or going. Thankfully, I have a wonderful wife who keeps me well-grounded and focused. My wife and I are the parents of seven children, each of which is special and precious to us. Two of our sons have served full-time missions for the Church and all of our children are currently students at one education level or another (college through pre-school). There are few dull days in our home! In my spare time, I enjoy reading and rooting for my favorite sports team, the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS faith and, like many LDS youth, relied on the faith of my parents during my early years. However, during my teenage years I began to develop my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My budding testimony was further strengthened during the time that I served a full-time mission for the Church in Chile. Since then, I have had numerous affirmations that God knows and loves me. The Church and my faith give me structure and purpose in life, for which I am forever grateful.

How I live my faith

As bishop in the Church, I have numerous opportunities to exercise and share my faith. The members of my congregation strengthen me through their prayers and service to others. My greatest joy comes in working with the youth of our congregation and in helping them to come to know Jesus personally. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to see our youth make good choices in their lives and take the steps necessary to obtain their own testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
