Why I am a Mormon

I was a lost sheep....until I was 24 years old. I met some people in the apartment complex I lived in who were Mormon. Through them I was shown what the Mormon church was all about. They invited to church on Sundays and to activities. I went and when I did I felt something that I had never felt before. I wanted that to be with me all the time. My "conversion" was over about 6 months but 100% based on having the Spirit testify to my heart that what I was experiencing in the Mormon religion was true and that I should embrace it. I came to know that what I was feeling was the Holy Ghost touching my heart and soul. I know what it is like to live on the wrong side of the line living in sin and and not having Jesus Christ as my beacon and acknowledging Him as my savior. The life I have had ever since I "joined" the church has been glorious, rewarding, full of wonderful experiences and most importantly it made my family an eternal unit. I learned about how to be faith FULL not faith half full. I learned that there is a "fullness of the gospel" and I wanted all of it so I became a devoted, committed Mormon.

How I live my faith

My speaking and training business gives me a unique opportunity to be in front of audiences of all kinds all around the planet. That gives me the opportunity to share gospel principles from stage. I gladly tell my audiences of the joy and peace that can be theirs if they embrace the truth that I know and will gladly share with them. Many listen and I am given the privilege of baptizing them. I have had many opportunities to serve in the church such as teaching all ages from 7 year olds, teenagers and adults. But the calling I love most is that of a missionary. I love sharing with people that there is a wonderful life waiting for them to embrace in the gospel of Jesus Christ and that their spouse and children can be together forever...not just " 'till death do us part"! I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness is on the earth and that living the commandments He gave us as well as the teachings of his prophets bring joy and solutions to life's challenges. I've learned that joy is not the absence of pain, suffering or adversity but the presence of God.
