Hi I'm Chris

I'm a wife and a mother, I live in Arizona and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother, as well as a sister and a daughter. My husband is the love of my life and my very best friend. We are parents of five children ranging in age from 12 years to 24 years old ... 4 boys and a girl. I have looked forward to being a mother for as long as I can remember. I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. I love to read, exercise, go to the lake, actually just about anything that gets me outside is great. I love date-nights with my husband and our friends and any activity with our family. This last year I have become a grandmother to the worlds cutest little boy and it is absolutely amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that was active in the Mormon faith so the gospel has always been a part of my life. I am so grateful to parents that loved me and taught me that I was a daughter of God. As I grew older my testimony of the gospel continued to grow. My husband is a convert to the gospel and through his conversion I was able to gain an even stronger and more complete testimony, and now there is nothing that I am more certain about. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and have tried to pattern my life after his. I am so grateful to believe as I do, it has helped me to make important decisions throughout my life. When I pray I feel close to my Father in Heaven and I know that he loves me as an individual. I know that God knows each one of us, He loves us and wants to help us. I especially love knowing how important families are in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing that being a member of a family gives each of us the best opportunity to be loved and cared for was one of the reasons why our family adopted our beautiful daughter who lived in an orphanage until she was 7 years old. I love knowing that families can be together forever

How I live my faith

Although I attend church each Sunday, I live my faith every day. I have learned that it is by doing the small and simple things, every day, that have the greatest impact on my life. I pray, I read my scriptures, I spend time serving others as Christ did. I have learned that serving someone else can bring so much joy into my own life. I try not to judge anyone and to be as kind and loving as I possibly can. Every week as a family we have an evening where we spend time together, no outside distractions, just enjoying each other. We try hard to have family meals together every day. While no life is perfect I have learned that my faith can give me daily strength and more happiness that I could imagine. This gospel is my life.
