Hi I'm Adam

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California. I am married to a lovely lady, Aurelia, and we are the happy parents of eight children.

About Me

I am a patent attorney, and I love science. I used to take my children into the lab with me to let them look in microscopes and experience science firsthand. I also enjoy working with entrepreneurs and helping them succeed. My grandfather and uncle are successful entrepreneurs, and I grew up hearing stories of business deals. My other passion is spending time with my family. We go camping together and have picnics on the weekends. We ride bicycles and play at the park. My wife and children always keep a smile on my face.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith in Jesus Christ provides a foundation that gets me through life's challenges. It is a source of peace in troubled times. My faith is strengthened as I listen to and follow the prophet's voice. It is also strengthened each time I enter the beautiful walls of the temple to worship and serve there. My faith first developed as I listened to my parents and other caring adults teach me as a child. However, it was not until I was in my teenage years that I prayed to God on my own and found my own answers. Those answers came through the calm assurances and loving influence of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

Each morning I lead a devotional with my family where we study and discuss the words of the prophets. Even my young children listen and learn things that surprise me. We hold family prayer in the morning, evening, and at meals, and each family member takes turns giving the prayer. My wife and I try to attend the temple together each week. The Washington, D.C. temple is a beautiful House of the Lord, and it provides a haven for us where we can be renewed in our determination to follow the Savior. In my congregation, I enjoy working with and teaching the youth. The young people I meet are shining examples, and they give me great hope for a better tomorrow.
