Hi I'm Lori

I grew up in Utah, but adopted from the Philippines. Right now I dedicate my time as a mother and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I have a loving husband and a beautiful daughter. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, but my other lifelong passion is dance. I was a dance educator in two public schools and currently I dance on a professional dance company in Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. There have been too many instances in my life that support the truth of this gospel. I grew up in the church and I have always believed in it. I know it makes me happy, I know it strengthens my family and all relationships I have, I know it keeps me solid and grounded on this earthly life. I believe in my Savior Jesus Christ, I believe in my Heavenly Father, and I believe in a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and putting the principles and teachings I learn about the Gospel into my home and everyday life. I do my best to be a good person and to find good in others. I have a calling in the Young Women's program as a Beehive Adviser. I love this calling because I get to teach gospel principles to young women the age of 12 and 13 and I get to hang out with them during mutual which is a weekly activity that both young men and young women ages 12-18 get to attend. I live my faith everyday personally by reading my scriptures, saying my prayers, and trying to teach my daughter the importance of the church. I also go visiting teaching where I go with another sister from the ward and we are assigned to visit certain women in our ward. It is always uplifting to visit and talk about the gospel with other women! Women need each other and I love being able to get together with other women this way knowing that we can rely on each other for the feeling of sisterhood and service. I would say I try to live my faith all the time, everyday, and in everything I do.
