Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a mormon..... and a volleyball player!

About Me

I am a first time mom and love everything about it! I also played volleyball at a local community college a year before that. I have a lot of hobbies I like to keep up on including: making hair bows, sewing anything, decorating, sketching, and keeping up 3 different journals. My strong point in life is my creative side like reusing things that have lost their charm and give it a new look. I love any type of reading that makes me think deeper.

Why I am a Mormon

At a young age I had always felt the need to communicate with my Heavenly Father. Even tho I was born a member of this church, my family and I still had its challenges. I often felt the need to pour my heart out to someone I knew loved me and new I existed. My mom would always say, never tell anyone that you didn't have many friends. But the truth is I didn't need many when I could turn to my dearest friend my Savior. I'm not saying I didn't have friends, but the ones I did have didn't always treat me nicely. In so many ways it was a great blessing, I became closer to my Heavenly Father and learned at young age I could count on Him for the rest of my life here on earth. I am a member today, because I still rely on my Heavenly Father to guide through the decisions I make every single day.

How I live my faith

My first priority while living what I believe is caring for my family. The more I do small things to serve them, the more I love them. Because my baby is still very small she relies on me for everything and I feel so blessed to do everything for her. When I go to church each Sunday I trade off teaching the 12 &13 year old girls. This alone has been the greatest blessing in my life when pertaining to the experiences that I have been given. On Wednesdays we have activities like working on goals to strengthen them spiritually. But we also do fun boating trips and things like that to bond with one another. Being an active member of this church is how I live my faith each day.
