Hi I'm Brodie

I live in Colorado on a gorgeous sod farm. I'm married to my very best friend Elizabeth and I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm twenty three and newly married, the best decision of my life. I work at a bank and am trying to take care of my family as best I can. I have some of the very best friends on earth and would not trade anything for them. I live out in the country on a sod farm and love to be out where it is quiet and beautiful. I like to play sports and am always looking for something new to try. I threw discus at Brigham Young University and still love Track and Field. Kicking back in a hammock and hanging out with friends is what I love to do to relax. I also love to read and am currently reading how to make better use of my time. Some people say I'm loud and crazy, but I like to think that I have a great life and am willing to show that I am happy about it. I am a part of two wonderful families, I grew up with a brother and was raised by my mother. When I married I inherited twenty eight nieces and nephews, some of the greatest fun I have ever had has been with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have had the opportunity to see what this world has to offer and know that it does not and will not compare to the happiness that can be found in family. I was raised by many who knew the gospel of Jesus Christ and was blessed to have been able to listen to some of what they taught me; enough that I decided I needed to marry a daughter of God who would share that standard. I found her and she and I both knew I needed to mature a bit and so I left for two years to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When I returned I wasted no time in asking her to marry me in the house of the Lord. I know that if I live worthy of her I will always be on good ground because she is my shining example of what is right. I know that we are here on this earth to learn and to grow and experience life in all the beauty that it was created to be. I know that God loves us and wants us to be happy. He is our Father and we His children. We may not always do what is right, but I know that if we try, that will always be enough.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by always striving to do my best in all I do. I love my wife with all my heart and try to never do anything that would hurt her feelings. I try to help others and teach others about what they can do to have happy productive lives. I love teaching my class of 12-15 year old's how they can more fully serve others. what they can do to be happy and who they can turn to when life gets rough. I am a simple man, but I love life and all that comes with it, good or ill. I love my family and try to always do right by them. I know that if I do my best, my Heavenly Father will be happy with me and I will not be guilty when the time comes for me to head on back to Him.
