Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 32 year old mother of three, a 9 year old, 5 year old, and very busy 2 1/2 year old. We are expecting our fourth child at the end of this year. I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with my children. I enjoy spending time with friends, knitting, sewing, and pretty much doing any craft.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a mormon. For some, that could make it easy to follow the beliefs and teachings of the church, but I waivered and had difficulties. I was inactive for about 6 years as a young adult. One night, after going through some tough trials, I knelt down and prayed to Heavenly Father with all my heart. I was looking for direction and answers. The answer I needed came to me, and I knew, with out a doubt, that this was the true church. I knew that this is where I needed to be. I know that this is where I should be now. I am so thankful for the church and what it has done for me. I know that this is how I should be raising my kids.

How I live my faith

As a mother I have many opportunities to help at school. I always try to teach my children why it's important to live our faith at all times. We always try to let people know our standards, whether by words or actions, and why we live them. At church I get to teach the adult women. I am not a natural teacher, so this does not come easily. I enjoy the time I spend preparing the lessons, and I feel that I always learn so much more by being able to do this.
