Hi I'm Ali

I'm a Mormon who loves her husband, her children, her life and her blessings.

About Me

I love being a wife and mother. I have 4 beautiful children that teach me and bless my life everyday. I've been married to a wonderful man for 16 years. We met at BYU where I finished my degree in Community Health. I had the opportunity to work in my field for several years while helping put my husband through his doctorate program in Biochemistry. Now, I'm lucky enough to get to stay home with my kids and enjoy that with all my heart. I love to do anything creative like decorate, bake, throw parties or sew. I enjoy a good workout and also love to read and shop!

Why I am a Mormon

This is an easy question to answer. Being Mormon gives me complete purpose in understanding where I came from, why I'm here and what I'm trying to do with my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is back on the earth - the same as it was when Jesus walked here on earth. I know that I lived with my Heavenly Father before I came here. I know I chose to come here to learn and grow and have a family. My purpose here is to be schooled in many things and to prove that I have faith in my Heavenly Father's plan and that I have a sincere desire to return to Him someday. This Gospel gives my life exact direction and purpose. It is a relief to know (and believe) that I am a daughter of God, that He loves me and that I will do what is asked of me. I am here to have joy.

How I live my faith

I desire and try to live my faith every minute of everyday. I live it by caring for the children that my Father in Heaven has entrusted me with. They are here on loan and I hope and pray each day that I can teach them as He would. I live it by studying the life of Christ through scripture study and trying to be like Him - our perfect example of a life well lived. I live it by loving my neighbor - which includes my immediate and extended family, my friends in and out of my neighborhood, strangers that I meet and those I don't. I continually strive to be kind to all. I try to live it by keeping the commandments our Father in Heaven has given us. I am never doing everything exactly as I should, but I know that it's the continual progression that matters. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can right my wrongs and become more like Him each day. He will help me as much as I desire.
