Hi I'm Payton

I play soccer. I love the water. Im a full-time missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently 19 years old and am serving a full-time mission. I love to play soccer, ski, wakeboard, and hang out with my friends. I am the oldest of 2. I plan on going to college after my mission and studying Business and eventually study to be a doctor. I am a convert to the church of 2 years and previously had little to no knowledge about god. My friends mean a lot to me, and without them, may have never found the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

i am a mormon because i have prayed to know for myself to know of the truthfulness of the gospel and authority that this church is the only church upon the earth. i lived in utah around mormon's my whole life, and was really against the church. that all changed when my sister started taking the lesson's from the missionaries, and invited me to go see Prophet of the Restoration at Temple Square. I then proceeded to meet with the missionaries and have come to know that the Restored Gospel is the true and living gospel on the earth in these days. I know that President Thomas S. Monson has been called of God to lead and guide us, the people of the world, unto salvation. I know this to be true with all my heart. Now I am so honored to be as the missionaries who taught me, and help others find the best gift the world has to offer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith currently by serving my Lord and Savior. I bike around all day to find those of my brothers and sisters who are ready and willing to find this Gospel. I serve them in whatever way that i can. I do this because i love my fellow brothers and sisters, and want more than anything for them to have what i have found. Christ means everything in my life, and im living according to the way he would have me live. I try my hardest to live in accordance to his perfect example, by serving others and helping them come unto him.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are so important to members of the LDS faith, because if we live in accordance to the Gospel, and endure to the end, we will have the opportunity to have eternal life, or the chance to live in the presence of God with our families for forever. We cherish our families because they are amazing gifts to us that can last throughout the eternities if we chose to follow the commandments of the Lord. My family means the world to me, and I look forward to living with them again. Show more Show less
