Hi I'm Jody

I grew up in Issaquah, WA. I'm a mother of four and a middle school science teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of four teenagers. I am a middle school science teacher and volleyball coach. I love to play volleyball, scuba dive, read, go on walks, travel all over the world, and spend time with my family. I come from a large family and I like to spend time with extended family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It helps me to feel that there is a purpose for my time here on earth and that there is life beyond the grave. The gospel brings me happiness and a feeling of peace. I love living a clean life that allows me to have a strong mind and body and that helps me to set a good example to my children and my students. I love the blessings of the temple and the knowledge that my family can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in the church. As I am a teacher, most of my callings have been involved with teaching, such as early morning seminary, Sunday school, and teaching the children of the church. I also play the flute and piano and have a strong musical background. Thus I have had many musical callings including music leader, adult choir director and children's music. I love sharing my love of the gospel with others.
