Hi I'm Raquel

I am a Mormon. I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

About Me

I am a mom of 5 kids. My oldest is 18 and my youngest is 2. Yes, they keep me very busy but I wouldn't have it any other way. My first language is Spanish. I love and miss Argentina. I hope that when others see me, I represent Argentina and where I come from well. I love to play the piano. A dream of mine has been to play the violin and I am very lucky to have a 14-year-old daughter that is willing to teach me.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church before I was born. So you could say that I had no other option but to be Mormon. As a teenager I questioned wether my parents beliefs were mine. I ended up studying the Book of Mormon and trying to learn as much as possible, whenever the opportunity presented itself, as many doctrines taught by the church as possible. After several years of uncertainty but continued prayer and study, I felt and knew in my heart that the Church was true.

How I live my faith

We go to church as a family every week. I play the piano for our choir. I also work with the youth in our ward. We read the scriptures daily as a family and pray as a family. I try as much as possible to be of help to others when needed (when I'm asked and sometimes when I'm not asked).
