Hi I'm Rick

I am from Arizona and love to golf and go camping. I have a wonderful wife and five great kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to read, and to work with wood. I like to golf and am trying to learn to speak Spanish. I also love all kinds of music, including opera. I grew up playing basketball, which is my favorite sport to watch. I am also a grandpa. My wife and I have five great kids, the oldest of which is married and has an amazing little girl. I am an accountant who turned into an owner of a plumbing company. I graduated from college with a degree in accounting and became a CPA. After working in public accounting and for various companies, I took advantage of an opportunity to co-own a plumbing business. I still do the accounting for my company, so I don't spend much time doing the actual plumbing work.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family. I learned to love the Book of Mormon, especially when I was 13 years old when my brother and I read it together. After praying and asking Heavenly Father if it was true, I felt the influence of the Holy Spirit telling me it was true. I have felt that same confirming spirit many times in my life since. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that the scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, testify of Him.

How I live my faith

I try to live as the Savior would expect me to. I try to be kind to, and love everyone. I serve as a boy scout leader and try to help people whenever I can. I really enjoy working with the young men and teaching them to be leaders and to learn life skills. I strive to be a good husband and father. I try to be there for my family and to teach them to live righteously.
