Hi I'm Paul M.

I'm a home grown Colorado boy. My family is my foundation. I am a missionary in Texas, I approved this message, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life. I am a student of life. I am a person that can't learn enough about the world around me. God created the world for all of us and there is something to be learned every day. As a part of this learning, I have realized that it is so important to serve others. My family is my foundation and they help me and support me every day. I like to think about every day as being the first day of the rest of my life. In my free time I enjoy architecture, industrial design, drawing, spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing sports, exercising, and dancing. And nothing beats a good laugh. Right now I am serving as a missionary in Texas for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it just feels right. In life you just know when something feels right. This is it and I know that this is the right path for me. I know that in 1820 God and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and called him to be a prophet in our day. I also know that the Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ that mutually works with the Bible to help us in our everyday lives and can help us in our every day challenges and problems. I also know that this Church is led by a modern-day prophet named Thomas S. Monson. There are times in life when we may feel uncertain or undecided about certain matters. Change is the one thing that does not change in life. Yet, God is always there to help us when we may feel inadequate in facing life's changes and challenges. Being a Mormon has given me purpose in my life and helped me to realize that God has a plan for me in my life. I am able to know the answer to some of life's great questions: Where I came from? Why am I here?, and Where am I going? I can face the future with faith because I can rely on God to help me reach that future.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become better every day. I try to become better every day by helping others. Every day I pray and ask God to help me to be an instrument in his hands to help others and become more like Him. In the past I have served as a home teaching leader in the Church. Home teaching is where members of the Church visit other members and make sure their temporal and spiritual needs are met. I have helped to organize home teaching so that everyone in the congregation is being helped. I am just glad to do my part and help out where needed. My faith has brought me great joy in my life and I'm trying to spread that joy by serving as a missionary in beautiful Texas, U.S.A.
