Hi I'm Trey Hiatt

I love playing sports, especially tennis! Im serving as a missionary in Wisconsin, and Im a Mormon!

About Me

I like to play tennis! I have played for a time, and even though I am not the best at it, I still try and do the best that I can! I swim, even though its not my favorite thing to do, but it keeps me in shape! I also swam competitively for a while. I really like to do anything out doors! Hiking, mountain biking, running, skim boarding, its all good stuff! I like to read books occasionally, and let my mind run wild in the amazing worlds that people create.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but my family was not very active. Eventually my parents split up and my dad was left to care for us(me and my little sister) by himself. He eventually met another woman, but she refused to marry him until he quit smoking. She was a member of the church and would not allow it. So, my dad quit and they got married! While living with with my dad and step-mom, weekly church meetings and other ward related activities were not uncommon, such as mutual/young mens, cub scouts and boys scouts, etc. I attended religious release in high school and college, and loved every single moment of it. Over those years of weekly church attendance, family scriptures study, and family prayer, it just became apart of me! When I started to prepare to serve a mission for the church was when I started to truly gain my testimony. I was given more opportunities to speak in church, and was appointed to be a ward missionary. Through these activities, blessings that the Lord gave me, I was able to prepare to serve a mission. I knew that I had been given these tasks, or all the things that had happened in my life, happened for a reason, and had they not happened, I know for a fact I would not be where I am today. I am so grateful for all the blessings my Heavenly Father has given me, and I want to share the happiness that I receive from them with all the world.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a full-time missionary in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I spread the word of the Lord to as many people as will listen, and I hope to be able to share the truth with as many people as I can! I want to share the happiness that I have received and continue to receive from our Heavenly Father with others, because everybody needs to feel the happiness that we receive as members of Christ's Church. I do my best to follow Christ's example and 'follow him.' I know he is our Savior, and that by having faith in him, and following his teachings, we can receive eternal life, and eternal happiness.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Trey Hiatt
We can come to know our Heavenly Father by sincerely praying to Him. If we pray with real intent, and are earnestly seeking truth and guidance, our Father in Heaven will answer our prayers. By praying regularly, we can see that our Heavenly Father listens to us, and will help us as we are striving to be like his Son, our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
