Hi I'm Heather

I'm a mother of 5, a wife, an educator, a homemaker, a Mormon, and most importantly, a daughter of God.

About Me

I'm grateful for each of these titles, but the one that brings the most joy and comfort is knowing I am a daughter of the Most High God. As such, he provides me with a never ending source of love, nurturing, and encouragement. These gifts are not exclusive to just me, but are available to all of His children who actively seek Him. This knowledge helps me to put all of my life's pieces together in harmony. I have come to know that amidst our daily challenges our loving Heavenly Father is always present if we will just invite Him through prayer. We have been given such a powerful gift of communication through prayer.

Why I am a Mormon

What does being a Mormon mean? Our Heavenly Father's plan provided a Savior and Redeemer for us to overcome life's obstacles of death and sin which would inevitably keep us from returning to our heavenly home. Being a Mormon means that I have made a sacred promise with my loving Heavenly Father that I will live my life in such a way that my words and actions emulate those of my Savior Jesus Christ. It means that I will share the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others who are searching for His light and truth. It means that I will help those who have heavy hearts, who are grieving, or those in need. It means I will learn to love others as He loves us. This would be a daunting task if I were to try it alone. Gratefully, I am never alone. In return for my honest efforts, Heavenly Father blesses me with the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost, to guide and direct me as I live worthily to receive this gift. Indeed, it's a powerful covenant that works beautifully when I strive to do all I can to be Like my Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Truly, this gift edifies and strengthens me daily as it molds me into who the Lord would have me be.

How I live my faith

I have tried to nurture and teach all those within my reach to know and love Jesus Christ and to trust in His ways. I love to listen to my children's prayers as they establish their own relationships with our loving Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I can't help but feel that each time they call upon Him, it brings a smile of profound joy and love to His face knowing that they know of their worth as His children. We are all children of a loving Heavenly Father. He wants all to come unto Him and be perfected through his Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
