Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married now for 14 years. I have a fantastic wife, seven wonderful children and one fat English bulldog named Harley. I play basketball twice a week with my friends at work and try to golf as much as I can. I love to ride my mountain bike every morning and enjoy camping, hiking, and hunting in sunny Arizona. Whenever I am not watching sports on TV, I am usually engrossed in thriller novels. I currently work in real estate for a company where we manage residential homes for investors for the last 10 years. We lease those homes out to those who are not in a position to buy at the time and don’t want to live in an apartment. It has been a blessing helping individuals get into homes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and it is all I have ever known. Growing up I took most of this for granted. It was until I was on my own that I truly appreciated how important the teachings I had learned over the years to get me through all of life’s ups and downs. I realized that through Christ anything is possible. The gospel provides a foundation and support that I have not found anywhere else. It brings me true happiness.

How I live my faith

I love helping people. Serving others is the best way that brings me joy. When I go visit other people and listen to their stories it always helps me grasp what is important. Most people look at commandments as taking away your freedom but I look at it as giving me total control of my life. By following the commandments I have structure in every decision I make. When I am able to share this with others I can teach them how this is what our Heavenly Father wants from all of His children.
