Hi I'm Jason

I'm a husband, father, private banking professional and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud husband and father. I married my high school sweetheart and have been blessed with four beautiful children. I love learning and especially enjoy reading about business, leadership and financial markets. Once upon a time, I was a college athlete! I earned a bachelor's degree in finance and an MBA. I am also a CFP(R) professional. I do my best everyday to live the life I believe Jesus Christ wants me to live and I am happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I did not grow up as a member of the LDS church. In fact, I didn't even know what a "Mormon" was until I moved from Michigan back to Arizona at age 15. After meeting many members of the church, I become interested in learning more. I received a surprise one afternoon after mentioning to a friend that I would be interested in reading the Book of Mormon. I was 18 years old at the time and in my first year of college. One day, as I arrived home, a sister (female) missionary jumped out of a white minivan yelling, "Jason, Jason, are you Jason?" I responded in the affirmative and she introduced herself as a missionary from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She described the origin of the Book of Mormon and gave me a charge to read it. That night, I read the introduction of the book and I knew that it was true. I add my witness to millions across the world of the divinity of the Book of Mormon and invite everyone to read and ponder its words and then do as the book directs and ask God if it is true. He will answer those who truly seek to know the truth. Shortly after this experience, I made a decision to be baptized, as the Savior was, and to become a member of His church. The road has not always been easy, but my life, and the life of my family, has been blessed beyond description as a result of this decision.

How I live my faith

I strive every day to live the way the Savior, Jesus Christ did. I try to be kind and loving to my family and others and I try to keep His commandmants. Obviously, I am far from perfect, but that is exactly why I love the Lord so much; because despite my failures and short-comings, I always have the opportunity to repent and receive forgiveness through His atonement. One thing that has blessed my life exceedingly, is daily study of the scriptures. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They give me such strength and comfort in my times of need.
