Hi I'm Kyle

I'm from San Diego, I love the waves, I'm a slight hippie, nature is the place to be, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Oceanside, California, and am a missionary currently serving in the Texas Houston South Mission. I love being outdoors and doing anything at the beach. I am a slight beach bum. BodyBoarding and Skimboarding are an absolute must, especially during the summer. The beach is the place to be just to unwind a loose yourself. I also am a huge nature fan. Going on hikes or finding a new place to explore is one of my favorite things to do. It doesn't matter where I'm at, I love to see the world at it's best. I hope to show others the creativity of God through the small experiences of an everyday life. Taking the time just to step back and appriciate things as they are is a skill that has far been lost. In everything, I love to be just overall excited about life in general.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member since the age of 8, when I was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, however, true conversion didn't start till much later. Late into my teenage years, I decided that I'd rather do things my way, and have God be less of an influence in my life. I lived in "the now" instead of realizing all that my Heavenly Father had in store for me in the future. As a result of my wayward actions, I soon found out that I was missing that feeling of hope and love that I had felt when I was living the Church's standards. Through that realization, I decided to come back to the Lord, and by doing so, put my life in order according to His divine will. By doing so, I gained a solid testimony of the Savior. As I continued in my search for the influence of the Spirit, I was drawn to The Book of Mormon. After completing it and asking in prayer if it was indeed true, I felt the same feelings of peace and hope I had come to know where from the Spirit. That is when I again realized that the Church I had been baptized into was the true Church of God. That is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time mission in The Texas Houton South Mission, and by doing so, I am blessed with the chance to be able to share my testimony with all those I come in contact with. I keep the commandments of the Lord, and I have been blessed to see that others do the same, and see the peace that comes into their life as well.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Kyle
We believe that the family unit is the most important aspect of Heavenly Father's plan. The family is where we are able to enjoy the love of our Heavenly Father, our parents, our children, and begin to understand how we are all apart of One Family is our Father in Heaven's eyes. We believe that the family unit does not end at death, and that under the proper authority and following covenants made in temples, a family can continue in the next life as well. This knowledge is why The Church of Jeus Christ of Latter-Day Saints continues to address the world about the importance of families. Show more Show less
