Hi I'm Glenda

I'm a small town girl who ended up being a world traveler. I love being a county girl and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest Joy comes from being a mother to my six children and a grandmother to 11 plus grandchildren. I love to take photos and scrapbook most of the pictures I take. God has blessed me with so much it's hard to pick out just one. I have a beautiful little girl who has Congenital heart defects along with Down Syndrome and you would think that would be a challenge to me, but I have to say the youngest of the family, my son is a handful. I feel God knew that my special needs child would need someone in her life, her brother to help and motivate her. I'm so glad and thankful that my Heavenly Father meets the needs of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised with a good understanding of God and Jesus Christ. My parents were faithful in showing us how to live by the Golden Rule and the Law of Moses. When I grew up and had a family of my own it was then that I started to ask questions and get deeper into my religion, but no one had answers that made sense. I found that I didn't agree with the some of the doctrine, so that started my search to find answers. I went to several different churches and I found that some had truth. Still I felt something was missing. When the missionary come over and started to share what they believed I soon found that the questions that I had were being answer just from the discussions. I knew from a feeling of peace and a sure knowledge that this was the true church. I then prayed to know and I continue to search the scriptures and I'm so glad of a loving Heavenly Father and in his Son Jesus Christ for giving me the answers that I seek.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving others, whether it be my family or people I know. I enjoy making small gifts and taking them to people that are in my circle of influence. To visit with the other women to learn and share from others is a great blessing. It can be taking a dish to help a new mother or helping to make quilts for a service project to help the needy. Sharing my time and talents brings my countless blessing.
