Hi I'm Todd

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my wonderful wife for 13 years and I am a father of two girls and two boys. I own my own business which allows me the flexibility to spend a lot of time with my family. I especially enjoy coaching my children's sports teams. I am not musically inclined, but I do enjoy playing the guitar and love to sing and play with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 14 years old. I had questions that I think most of us have pondered at some point in life -- why are we here, where do we go after we die? I didn't grow up in a religious home, so I talked to several friends about their beliefs in an attempt to understand the answers to these questions. One of these friends was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Not only did his explanations make more sense to me than what my other friends were sharing, he told me I didn't have to take his word for it; he said I could go directly to God in prayer to ask if what he was saying was true. That prayer was truly answered and I have been blessed every day as a result.

How I live my faith

I think the most important thing that I try to do is look for opportunites to serve other people. Going to church, reading the scriptures and praying are good things, but they are not an end but rather the means to an end. These good activities should inspire us to go forth with a greater measure of charity and a desire to help other people. If you look at the life of Christ, His focus was always on the needs of those around Him. If we are trying to follow His example, no matter how imperfectly we do so, I believe service has to be a major part of our lives.
