Hi I'm Jarom

I am a father of six. I am a dentist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my wife and six children. I am an avid sports fan especially loving college football and basketball. I like to read. I also enjoying music, playing the piano and guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon but had to find out for myself that the doctrine the Church teaches was true. I studied the teachings of the Church especially those found in the Book of Mormon. As a young man, I prayed to God and sincerely asked if these things were correct and if this was indeed the Church of Jesus Christ. These prayers were eventually answered through a series of feelings and experiences I had. The knowledge I gained at that time has continued to grow and blossom. I can honestly say today, that I know that God lives and loves us. I know that Jesus Christ is His son. I know that Christ died for us and that through His sacrifice, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the same church that Christ setup when he was on the earth. This has become a major rock in my life. Even though there has been so much chaos in the world lately, I know God lives and is aware of us. There is so much comfort and strength knowing that our lives have a purpose and direction.

How I live my faith

I am involved in serving and leading the men of our congregation. I help with and oversee weekly instruction which we have every Sunday. We discuss how we can be better husbands, fathers, members of the church and citizens of our communities. I also help coordinate efforts to have members of the congregation visited on a monthly basis to insure that their temporal and spiritual needs are being met. I also play a role in helping the leader of our congregation, the bishop, assist with individuals or families who are going through hard financial times. We occasionally have activities and events to celebrate holidays or socialize with each other. I help plan and organize some of these events.
