Hi I'm Doug

I grew up in Eastern Idaho and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my beautiful wife and best friend for 17 years and have four wonderful children. I grew up in a small farming community in Eastern Idaho and lived in the Boise area for 10 years. I spend all of my summers as a kid helping my Grandparents on their farm in Northern Utah. Some of the best experiences I can remember were working on the farm with my dad, brothers and grandpa. My family moved to Colorado 9 years ago and we love the Rocky Mountains and Colorado! I love restoring old things and bringing them back to life. I love to go boating, hunting, camping, motorcycling riding in the mountains with my family. I'm an Eagle Scout and have been active in Scouting for many years and enjoy working with

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I cannot imagine raising a family in today's world without the guiding principles of the gospel and the values teaches. I was fortunate to be born into Mormon family with two parents who were wonderful examples to me that taught me through their example to show Christ like love to others. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and the truths found within and for a living Prophet that lives in our day.

How I live my faith

My faith is the foundation that has guided my through my life. Each week I attend my church meetings and activities for both me but also my family. I strive each day to do my best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ our elder brother. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us principles that not only will help us, but our family, and community. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints!
