Hi I'm Chad

Happily married with 2.5 kids. I love photography and green jello. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After finishing school at RIT in upstate NY, a job in photography brought me to the NW almost 11 years ago. Different job now but same passion. I enjoy the mild NW weather but wouldn't miss the winter rain. Married for 10+ years. Courted for 5 years (long story) but now happy with 2 kids and 1 on the way. Love being a Dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been an active member of this church all my life. My parents taught me the basic beliefs of the church through example and simple lessons. I've had plenty of opportunities to leave and pursue other religious paths but none of them have brought the peace and excitement that this Church has brought to me. When I wanted to serve a mission I decided to read the Book of Mormon on my own and seek out that burning testimony everyone spoke about so often. After I completed the book I prayed to know if it is true. At first I was worried God would be upset that I would question him on these matters. To my relief I did receive my answer. I felt excitement and joy from the spirit telling me that the Book of Mormon is true and that Gods church has been restored on the earth again with a prophet. Since being a father and husband my testimony has increased with a true understanding of families and my total dependance on Jesus Christ. I have always appreciated small and spiritual promptings over the years. I know that I am a better man, husband, and father for continuing to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ or Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Day by day, Week by week. Most days are better than before. Some days are hard. I am grateful for the support from the Church and the opportunity to serve others ease their burdens.
