Hi I'm Kim

I am a mother to 4 beautiful children. I am a Dental Hygienist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of a blended family of 6. My parents joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2 years before I was born. Therefore, only my parents and my one brother are members of the church. I have an amazing family and we love to do things together. Everyone is very supportive of each other. We enjoy camping together, boating at the lake and just getting together for family dinners. I married my high school sweetheart who joined the church shortly after we were married and we were sealed for time and all eternity one year later. We have been married for 11 years and have welcomed 4 beautiful children to make a family of our own. My husband and I are both in health care and are able to offset our schedules so that we can balance our careers and always being here for our children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and gained a testimony of my own as I began to see the overwhelming blessings that come from living the gospel, and following the commandments. I love the joy I feel and the hope I have in a world that can be cruel. I cannot deny the feeling of the spirit as truths are manifested to me. I love serving others and knowing that I am serving my Heavenly Father. I love the friendships and family that I have in other church members. I love that I know how to pray and that I know Heavenly Father is listening and answers my prayers. I love to watch my children come to know Jesus and Heavenly Father and know that they are loved. I don't know what I would do without knowing why I am here, and where I came from. I can't imagine how hard life would be without a relationship with the Lord. I am thankful that the Lord loves us enough to have a living prophet on the earth to give us direction and hope in our day and time with trials that effect us now. More than anything I love knowing that if I live my life righteously that I can be together with my family forever, not just for time here on this earth.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are blessed to work with the youth at church. We serve as Sunday School teachers to the 12 and 13 year old boys and girls. The youth are so full of life and are such a joy to be around. Before we were asked to teach the youth we were in charge of activities for our ward family. We organized picnics at the park, game nights, trunk or treat, and other activities for 250+ people at a time. Actvities where everyone could come and strengthen friendships and enjoy good fun! Besides serving where we can at church, we have one night a week that we reserve as a family night for our own family. We spend time together learning important lessons, or just having fun like swimming, going to get ice cream or playing games. We strive to read our scriptures daily and pray as a family.
