Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Husband, Dad, Culinary graduate, E.M.T. graduate, owner of a plumbing company and yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Dad of four and a Husband who loves to spend time with my family. i have spent most of my life trying to figure out what i want to do to provide for my family. i have studied in college to be a Police officer, Fire fighter, Chef, and when i was attending school i worked as a plumber to get me through school. Currently I am in a Partnership of a plumbing company. It is awesome how my life plays out and where i am. Working as a plumber in the construction trade is right where i want to be. i love baseball, basketball, and playing anything with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is the best title i could be given. i have always been a Mormon but there were times in my life where i didn't understand where i was. Going through the teenage years with out the Church made life difficult. There came a time where i knew there needed to be a change. i learned through the experiences of life that there was something more out there. Going to church really helped me to understand where home was and where i needed to be. I continue to live the gospel because of the true happiness it brings to my life. I love learning about my Savior and the Love that He has for me and the love he has for everyone born on this earth. i have come to know that Jesus Christ lives and that he died for all of us, so we can return home to our Father in Heaven. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His Church established on this earth once again for the last time. i do know that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God and that Joseph Smith is a Prophet who was called by God to open this last dispensation. i love who I am. i love my Father in heaven and His Son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Serving in Church is a great way to learn and grow to be like the Savior. In my church I have the opportunity to work very close to the missionaries, that are seen all over the world. Being able to work with them gives me a greater out look on my life. They give two years of their life to do what ever the Lord would have them do. They leave their homes, family, and friends to serve the Lord. Every Sunday i am at church and i am given the opportunity to teach a Gospel related class for those that want to learn more about the gospel basics and enjoy helping others understand the Love God has for us. I work hard six days a week and on sunday i have dedicated that day to not do any of my daily duties. It is great to have a day to just be with my family and be around some of the greatest people i have ever met. i love helping people in their times of needs. It could be a move or a lesson or just a talk. To be able to give up myself to help others helps me understand the life that the Savior lived.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

The Church build I attend is a church filled with young families where you can here the sweet sounds of babies and families in motion. Everyone meets together the first hour and attend sacrament. During the sacrament we ponder about our week , reflect on the things we did or didn't do, and help to understand how we can be better. The remainder two hours is a time to learn more about the gospel. this time is intended for all ages and classes are provided for all. Everyone is welcome to attend and we love to see visitors. When you do come for the first time please make yourself at home and be ready for many friendly people to greet you with love. Show more Show less
