Hi I'm Ashley

I am from Gilbert, AZ and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new mom to a wonderful daughter and I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy working out, cooking/baking, swimming, crafting, camping, and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the testimony I have of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I grew up in an LDS family. I went to church and always had faith and testimony sure as a child the thought of three hours of church seemed infinite but deep down I knew it was where I needed to be. As a teenager I decided it was time to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover on my mine and gain my own testimony. As I completed it I took on the challenge to "ask with a sincere heart, with real intent" if the things I had just read were true and that by the power of the Holy Ghost I would know the truth of all things. As I prayed for an answer I had a strong feeling and confirmation that these things were true. I love the Gospel and all of it's teachings. I love knowing that if I strive to follow Him that my little family will be an Eternal family. My testimony is strong and yet simple. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a true Latter Day prophet of God that he restored the Gospel on this earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true Latter Day prophet. I know the Book of Mormon to the true of God and that Joseph Smith translated it. I know the gospel is true and I have a tremendous love for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my weekly church meetings regularly. I have a couple responsibilities/callings in my ward. I am a Cub Scout Den Leader and we gather weekly and help the young boys of our ward pass off their merit badge requirements and help prepare them for boy scouts when they turn 12. I am also a visiting teacher and I am assigned to visit 3 ladies in my ward every month share a spiritual message and just be a friend and serve them when they need service. I also try to be a disciple of christ in my everyday life by loving/serving my neighbor and be a good example of my faith.
