Hi I'm Teri

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother. All my children are mostly grown. My little girl is in her last year of high school. My eldest son is married with our first granddaughter. Currently I am finishing up college. I enjoy my time with family and friends. Love to cook! I will think up any reason to cook a huge meal. We have many pets, however my love is my dog. She is a min pin and spoiled.

Why I am a Mormon

I never thought about the question, why am I mormon before. I have been with the church for a year and a half. Ever since the Missionaries knock on my door, I just knew I found what my heart had be asking me to find. I found a safe place is grow, a place that asking questions and a family in which no one was better than another, because we are all growing together in the gospel. I had lost so many loved ones in my life, that I carried that lost with me all the time. When I heard the plan of salvation I knew I could see my loved ones again. Since joining the church, life has not got easier but more enjoyable. My children are closer and my husband I have more to talk about. There is a lightness is my heart and shows outwardly to all. I know the gospel is true and I will hold on to the rod.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by performing service to all. Simple things in life can change the world. I believe everyone needs a smile everyday. When someone needs help I am there. If it is calling someone and saying hi or making a dinner for a sick friend. I know what it feels like to be alone. I don't want anyone to feel like that. I am working on the day of service project. It is when many of our members do service for the community. We do this not for glory but for love and understanding. I know there are people that need help that will not ask for help. However, if I see someone that needs help I will do what I can. Through kindness, understanding and love is how I live my faith.
