Hi I'm Heidi.

I'm an aunt, hairstylist, traveler, a bit of a control freak, beach lover and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children, I have three siblings married and two of them have children who I love and adore more then anything else. I am in my early thirties, (scary) and am still single, so my family is everything to me. I enjoy doing almost everything I can with them. My baby brother, who I call monkey boy, is serving a mission in southern California, I love him and miss him but I am so grateful that is serving the Lord. I love to travel, spend money (on my nephew and nieces, I want to spoil them), watch movies, plan parties, read fabulous books and any time spent on the beach is time well spent, in my opinion. I have been a Stylist for the last 14 years and surprisingly enough I still love it, I also teach classes to new hairstylist, which is a new venture for me and I think it is something I was meant to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church and I thank Heavenly Father everyday for the blessings that being a member has given me. I know that Jesus is the Christ, that he died for me and my sins so I could live with him again. I know that this church is the true and living church, that Pres. Monson is a prophet of God and that he leads and guides this church today. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I am grateful that he had enough Faith and courage to kneel in the sacred grove and pray for answers. I am grateful that families can be together forever because there is no one else I would rather spend eternity with then my family! I am grateful for the love and tender mercies of a my savior, for his example. For the knowledge that with God all things are possible. For the happiness that surrounds me, when I am living my life the way I am suppose to. I am grateful for a little brother that is serving the Lord and bringing families together forever. I am grateful for every good and bad trail I have been blessed with, the bad because it is making me a better person and the good because it reminds me how blessed I really am. I love the Savior with all my heart and could never image my life with out him in it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday, in everything that I do. It's important to me that people know that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint. Since I come in contact with such an array of people, I am always talking about what I am up to which for the last year it's been planning activities and parties for the Mid-Singles (ages 30-50), it has been so much fun, I am constantly planning something and always try to out do myself, which I wish I didn't do but I am not perfect and I am a tad on the controlling side. (shhhh....I didn't say that out loud) I hope that someone looking in to my life can tell that there are two things important to me; my family and my membership in the church.
