Hi I'm Sherrie

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm wife to the best husband in the world. We have been married almost 12 years. I am mom to 6 wonderful children. My husband serves in the United Sates Air Force. This has given us the opportunity to live in, and travel to, many beautiful places. We have met some amazing people. I love photography. I love nature. I love good food. I love good friends. I love my family. I love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I suppose that the quick answer is that I was born and raised a Mormon. More importantly, I know it is true. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and I know that He loves me. I know that this is His true church on the earth today. I know that He has chosen Apostles to lead this church. I know that families can be together. And I love that. I love my family and it brings me great joy to know that it doesn't end when we die.

How I live my faith

My faith is more than worshipping in church on Sundays. It is part of who I am, the way I look at life, the way I live my life, and decisions that I make. By reading my scriptures and praying daily I feel like I grow closer to a loving Father in Heaven and to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that I am not perfect and that I can do so much better. My faith encourages me to do so. I have the wonderful opportunity to teach 10 and 11 year olds in church on Sunday. They are smart, fun, and ready to learn. I also get to visit with other women in our ward. It is a great way to get to know them on a one on one basis and help meet any needs that they might have.
