Hi I'm Jason

I am a third year law student, husband, and father of two. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my last year of law school. I have a bachelors degree in Business Management and Finance. I have been married for over four years now. I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I am working towards becoming a city attorney after I graduate and pass the bar. I love trying out new resturaunts and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

While I grew up Mormon, I have looked into other faiths. I have continued in my faith because I have prayed and come to know of the truth of these things myself. I deeply appreciate the teachings of the church and the impact that the teachings have had on my life. I know that my Savior lives and has established a church whereby he can continue to provide guidance. The world is a troublesome place and I look forward to the strength being a part of the Mormon faith, and believer in Christ, brings and will continue to bring to my family. I know I can, and look forward to, spending all eternity with my darling wife. Being a Mormon, simply put, brings me true and lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my law school student societies. Living my faith, to me, means that I strive to exemplify what Christ taught in my own life. I enjoy teaching others about things I have learned in life and school. I look for opprotunities learn and grow. I strive to be kind and non-judgemental.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

I look at the Word of Wisdom as more than just a health code. Simply put, don't use tobacco, alcohol, coffee and tea, or illegal drugs. While it might sound limiting, I find it very liberating. Because I don't use tobacco, I don't have to worry as much about all the health risks. Same goes for alcohol. I don't have to worry about getting a DUI, destroying my liver, losing control, etc. All in all, the Word of Wisdom is a great way to stay healthy. It also helps me save money because I don't feel compelled to spend money on expensive drinks. Show more Show less
