Hi I'm Stephanie

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, am recently married, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with two sisters, learning gymnastics, dance, music, and many other girly things. My dad was outnumbered by the girls and tried to teach us wrestling and football, but they never took. Recently, my sisters and I all got married (and now we are trying to understand men!) At least my father is finally enjoying having some boys around. I enjoyed math early on, which eventually led to accounting. Being a recent graduate, I am enjoying my first job, and spending all my spare time sprucing-up our foreclosed house with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the Church when I was a toddler, after experimenting with many religions to discover which felt right. They had been married for a few years and wanted to find a religion that would teach my sisters and I how to live right. The church has brought knowledge and happiness to me that I wouldn't have known where to find otherwise. Throughout my life, feeling God's love for me has been the biggest source of comfort during the most difficult times. It is amazing to understand that he knows me personally and loves me more than I could imagine.

How I live my faith

I love getting to know the other women in the church - visiting women of all ages and learning their stories. There is so much to learn from others, and their experiences. I am currently working with the teenage girls at church, which is a lot of fun, and keeps me busy. The girls are so loving and I love to be there to give advice when they talk to me about school or social life. They are so creative and I am learning some cool ideas from them. I am suprised at how welcome I feel among the girls, and as I continue to get-to-know each girl individually, I find that I learn so much.
