Hi I'm Cynthia

I grew up in Oregon. I love the outdoors. I am a nurse and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Somethings that I enjoy doing are, being active, exercising, and doing outside activities such as (hiking, camping, fishing, riding a bike, etc...) This might come from the fact that I grew up on a farm. I also love to do anything involving the water like jet skiing, boating, or just playing in the water. Other things I like to do include blogging, sewing, and hanging out with my husband, our friends, and our families. I graduated a few years ago with a bachelors of Science in Nursing. I enjoy the medical field it is forever changing and in return I am forever learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the churches teachings. I believe my Savior Jesus Christ loves me and all of his children. I believe that he lives and that he died for me and my sins, so I could repent and live with him and God again. I believe my prayers are heard and answered, maybe not always how I want them to be, but they are answered how I need them to be so I can grow on this earth. I am a Mormon because I gain strength in the knowledge that there is life after this, that leads to my thought of families I believe we will be with them forever if we keep the promises we make with God. I believe the church focuses on the family being and staying together. A saying I like to live by is have faith over fear and we are taught many times to have faith, I believe if we have faith over fear we will be able to deal with many things in life. I believe in the Book of Mormon and I am so grateful for it's teachings. I am also grateful for Joseph Smith that he help reorganize the church and that I am able to be a member of it today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others around me whether I know them or not. I visit the sick and try to offer help to others that I know need it. I volunteer to help in my community with service projects. I continually try to be a better person myself by being honest and kind. I try to be a friend, a listening ear, and I smile to all those I am around. I also live my faith by spending quality time with my family by talking and doing activities with them. I teach, learn, and grow from them. Over the years I have done many community service projects from painting side rails at the school, babysitting for free, to cleaning elderly peoples homes. I attend my church meetings regularly so I can be refreshed for the next week and so I can renew the promises I have made with my Heavenly Father. I pray to my Heavenly Father and read my scriptures for peace and comfort.
