Hi I'm Teresa

I'm a regular college student who studies, works, and makes time for fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a regular college student who spends time studying and working, but always makes time for fun! I am studying Special Education and hope to one day be a teacher of these amazing children. I love being around people including my family and friends. We always play cards, watch movies, or just enjoy a good conversation together. I love to play sports like basketball, volleyball, and pretty much anything else. Camping, swimming, and anything outdoors is always fun too!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because quite simply I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I have asked for myself and studied it out in my mind. I cannot deny of it's truthfulness. I can feel of my Heavenly Father's love for me, his daughter. I know he is watching over me and wants me to be happy. I also know my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ loves me. He has provided a way for me to repent and change and become like Him. That's what the Gospel is about, learning from out mistakes and improving each day to be a better, more loving, and charitable person. My testimony of the Gospel's truthfulness has brought more happiness into my life than anything else in the world. The Gospel helps me in my daily life. Gives me hope and direction in all my choices and trials. Brings me closer to my family and to my God. This Church is everything to me and without it I don't know who I would be or how I would live my life. However, I do know the truth. I encourage all those who might read this to seek out the truth, because I can promise you it will change your life and bring joy into your life in a way that nothing else on this Earth can.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by watching over 30 other woman who are college students just like myself. This is my "job" or calling in the church. I help them in anyway I can even if it's just talking with them. I help to plan events and activities to help teach different skills such as cooking, budgeting, etc. I make sure Sunday meetings for these women are meaningful and uplifiting where we have lessons about faith, repentance, charity, eternal marriage, and so on. Overall I just do whatever I can to help them and love them. I find I love each of them more as I serve them. I also live my faith by trying to do things daily to keep myself close to my Heavenly Father. I'm not perfect by any means, but I try to pray and read from the Book of Mormon or the Bible every day. By fulfilling my calling and trying to do the small things like praying, I find myself closer to my God. When I am closer to Him, my faith and testimony of this Gospel are strengthened.
