Hi I'm Chris Easton

I am a wife, mother and grandmother of nearly 10 grandchildren. I work full time and I am the Relief Society President in my ward.

About Me

My name is Chris and I love being a Mormon. I am a wife, mother (of four) and grandmother of nearly 10 grandchildren. I work full time for an Orthodontist and have a busy church calling. I enjoy reading, going to the movies, camping and spending lost of time with my family and my puppy dog Samson. I have Celiac disease and hate to cook. Thankfully, I have a wonderful husband who loves to cook and makes tasty gluten-free meals and treats for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born to Mormon parents. I have a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and reflect frequently on the scripture from Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things throught Christ which strengthens me. When I was young, my parents went inactive and my brother and sister and I would walk to church. I felt great strength in my Savior as I continued to go to church without my parents. At age 14, my parents divorced but I did not let that deter me from living the gospel. My mother returned to activity in the church when I decided to get married in the Temple and she wanted to go with me. Unfortunately, my father could not go into the temple with me and I was sealed to my sweetheart without him. He was happy for me and greeted me when I came out of the temple. Since that time, he remarried and also returned to the church and went through the temple before passing away. I am a Mormon because I want to be a Mormon; it gives me hope, peace and helps me to endure this life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by my actions and how I treat people. I have had many opportunities to show and tell people about my faith as I have served on the PTO in my children's high school, served over 20 years on Boy Scout committees and trainings. I have had many callings to teach children, youth and adults and I currently serving in the women's organization to help women feel of worth, help them to come unto Christ and to serve others.
