Hi I'm Kristen

I'm married to my best friend. I love crafting and photography. And last but not least, I love being a Mormon.

About Me

A little about me...I am a certified nursing assistant and was a pre-nursing student. I love to learn about the human body. What a miracle it is! I love to visit the elderly in the nursing home. I love being married and have never been happier in my life. I love to create and craft things. I love to take pictures of this beautiful world we live in. I went on a humanitarian trip to Fiji that changed my life. I was once in the Hill Cumorah Pageant, which was also an incredible experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my parents, whom I will forever be grateful to. They raised me so faithfully in the Church and it has stuck. I, however, don't live off of their testimonies anymore. I gained my own little by little; and still do learn and grow from different things and experiences each and every day that strengthens my testimony. I know it is such a wonderful privilege to be a member of the one and only true Church on earth today. I don't know exactly what I did or have done to be able to have this incredible blessing in my life. I know without a doubt that my life would not be as it is today if I didn't have the Gospel. I know I would feel so lost and without purpose in life. This Church is so full of joy, happiness, hope, and love. What more would you want in a church? Enjoying the blessings of being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes me want to share the true joy and happiness that I feel from being a member. I want everyone to have this and everyone deserves this because we are all sons and daughters of God. He loves us with an indescribable love that we will never come to know and understand because there aren't words to describe it. I continue to strive to keep my covenants and the commandments because I want to live with my Heavenly Father and my eldest Brother, Savior, Redeemer, Jesus Christ someday again. As Enos said in the Book of Mormon in the book of Enos chapter 1 verse 27, "And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father. Amen." I strive to live the best I can each day because I want this scripture to become a reality when my days are done here on this earth.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example and to represent the Church the best I can to people in the community I live in. Most especially to my co-workers. I want them to know I am a Mormon and I want them to see how I live my life everyday. I strive to be kind and be ready to answer any questions they may have about the Church. I am very open to talking about the Gospel. I just hope I can answer in the right way and a pleasing manner to my Savior Jesus Christ because after all, it is His Church. I am a teacher and leader to the young women of the youth in the Church (ages 16-18). I absolutely love my calling. I feel very blessed to be able to teach these sweet young women. I was just in their shoes not long ago and so I feel like I can relate to them and I love that. They are such great girls and have beautiful testimonies of the Gospel. My only pray and hope is that they continue grow and nourish their testimonies every day and stay faithful members of the Church. This will bring them the true happiness they will need in their lives. I hope that I can teach and share experiences that I have had in my life that can help them in their lives, especially in the hard times. I love being able to serve my Lord and Savior in His Church. He has done so much for me, more than I will ever be able to re-pay Him. I feel if I strive to faithfully serve in the callings He has given me, this is my way of showing my love for Him and saying "Thank You" for all He has done for me and continues to bless me with.
