Hi I'm Thresia

I am a wife and a mother of 11 great kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life may not have been what I had imagined when I was younger, but I can't imagine it any different than it is. I am a mother of 11 great children who keep me quite busy. I have dedicated my life to them and want them to be great people as they grow. We have the same struggles as any average sized family as we strive to teach them, give them opportunites to grow and the hustle and bustle of activities and homework. We love to all curl up to a good movie as a family and we all survive our long trips crunched together in our 15 passenger van. Life is crazy, but we would not have it any other way!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of this church because I had wonderful missionaries that taught me about the plan of salvation and that families could be together forever. I loved that as a child of 9 I had a place in this church. My mother had taken us to several churches, but when I came to this church I knew that I belonged. Often times I think people have a hard time thinking a child so young could know without a doubt something could be so right but I never faltered. I knew it was the right thing to do. I continue to believe to this day that without a shadow of a doubt that this is where I belong. I strive to live my life in a manner that is morally worthy to live with Christ again and I strive to teach my children to do the same. I love to be a member of this church because I believe in the Savior and I believe that the Holy Ghost has given me the guidance to know that this is true. I know that Families can be together forever through time and eternity. I believe in the power of prayer and in faith. I believe in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints and I bear testimony of the truthfullness of its gospel. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

We live our faith in our every day life. We have prayers with our family and we sit down and read scriptures together. I feel it is important for my children to be taught about religion and the moral lessons of life. I enjoy helping in my church and feel blessed to be able to serve others. I enjoy visiting the ladies in the church and going into their homes to feel their spirit. It is comforting to know that they have the same situations and stuggles that I do. It is wonderful to be able to have each other to help if ever there was a need. I am so happy that my children are able to attend a weekly night of activities to help with their growth in the church. It is nice to be able to surround them with people who believe in the Savior and that have faith. I am thankful that I have a strong faithful husband that helps the young men of the church. I strive to love all of those around me and do what I can to serve the lord.
