Hi I'm Jo

"I am a Para Educator in an elementary school. I have thirteen Grandchildren under the age of ten. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for thirty four years to my cute husband who I met in a grocery store. (I was buying a Twinkie). We have five great kids who are all married. And thirteen grandchildren five are three this year. Our family is all over the place England, Michigan, Texas, Colorado and Arizona. I love being outside so Colorado is the perfect place to live. I walk to work which is an elementary school. I love working with children because they have an unconditional love for everything and everybody.

Why I am a Mormon

I was Baptized in the LDS faith at the age of eight but my family did not attend church. I started going regularly at the age of Thirteen because of a girl named Pam. This friend changed my life! My dad was dying of Cancer and the gospel of Jesus Christ gave me the knowledge and comfort I needed. I can say that was the hardest period of my life. I Know the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. I know their is a living Prophet who is here to guide us. I know the the Book of Mormon to be the word that God gave to us. My dad died but I know his spirit lives, and I will be able to see him again. I know this because I know our savior Jesus Christ was resurrected. I testify these things are true in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

My Husband is a Bishop of a student ward so I'm able to go with him and enjoy the wonderful personalities of young adults just staring their lives. I have been a seminary teacher for high school students, who meet at the church at 6:15 -7:00 am before school to study the scriptures.
