Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Colorado. I have a wonderful wife! I served a mission in Mozambique Africa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently an insurance broker/consultant for employee benefits. I love being able to meet new people and being able to help them save money with my services. I had the privilege to serve a mission for my church in Mozambique Africa. It was a blessing to live among those people and see how blessed I (we) am/are in our lives. I am currently married to a beautiful women that I am blessed to be with forever. I truly value the blessing of the family and know that it is part of God's plan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I know it is the church of Jesus Christ. As members of the church, we are blessed to not only have the words of the prophet found in the Bible, but we are blessed to have another testament of Jesus Christ, The Book of Mormon. I know that this book was written by prophets (just like the Bible) and that by living by its teachings that I will be able to become closer and more like my father in heaven. This church has not only been a blessing to me, but to my family. The gospel of Jesus Christ is centered around returning to live with our father and families. This church teaches the importance of family members working together to one day return home to live with our father in heaven. I have been blessed from this gospel and know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to be able to serve in this church in several different areas. I am currently involved in teaching the youth ages 12-18 every Sunday. What a blessing it is to help influence these youth and help them make correct decisions by teaching them true principles. My wife and I are also in charge of setting up a dance every third Saturday of the month. We have very strict standards for the dress of the youth in order to keep the spirit within the dances. We play "clean" music that has been approve by the church to make sure we are not playing music that would teach the youth different concepts than that at church. We have a lot of chaperons that know the standards and are able to help monitor the youth through out the dance. These dances are a great way for the youth to get together and socialize!
