Hi I'm Alyssa

I've lived in Arizona all my life. I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, student and an EMT. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm very crafty and I love to make things with my hands. I'm the youngest of 13 children, all of which are married except for me, which means that I have 34 nieces and nephews as well. Family is my life. I don't know what I would do without them. After high school I received my Emergency Medical Technition certification (EMT) and I am currently gearing up for Paramedic school. It's been hard getting my life started and figuring out what to do, but with the help of my family, friends, church leaders, and Heavenly Father, I know I'm making good choices and I'm right where I need to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a first generation Mormon, which means that my father is a convert but I was born into the church. I am a Mormon because I have seen the difference, within my own family, how much the gospel can enrich a person's life if they let it, and how much more of a struggle life can be without it. That doesn't mean I haven't had my fair share of trials, but the gospel has taught me how to get through those trials and come out stronger, and closer to my Heavenly Father in the end. I know this gospel is true, that Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers, and that this is His true church.

How I live my faith

I currently attend a Young Single Adult ward and I love it! It is so much fun and there are so many opportunities to get to know so many amazing people. I have a couple callings in the ward that help me to get to know other's and it's been a very humbling experience for me. I absolutely love it!
