Hi I'm Clay

I am from Alabama, I am the oldest of 14 children. I am a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a christian environment where religon was very important in the home. My father took us to church every Sunday and although our mother didn't go with us (with 14 children what can you do? Someone has to stay home and take care of the babies!). But as children we had a great love for Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Although I am the only member of this church in my family each of my siblings are other members of diffrent congregations and respect my religon. I have a big belief that one day Heavenly Father will open their eyes and they will come to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His church here upon the earth, and that He has called prophets, seers and revelators in these latter days; and that the boy Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, who directed him to organize His church upon the earth so that we as His sons and daughters may know how we can return back to Him and live in His presence; and that the Book of Mormon is another Testament and revelation of this latter day work.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church while serving in the military, over 30 years ago. The church has been the greatest blessings to me and family that has ever had happen to us. It have brought such great joy and happiness, that cannot be expressed. I cannot say where I would be if I did not have this gospel in my life. I am so thanksful for the friend that shared this message with me.

How I live my faith

I serve in the bishopric in the ward where I attend and work with the youth. I also assist in going with the missionaries and sharing this message with others. I am also assigned to visit other members of the congregation as their home teacher to help them and strengthen their testimony.
