Hi I'm Kalle

I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, I like people and I am Mormon

About Me

I was raised in Idaho on a potato farm and I am fifth of six children. I attended college in Idaho and Utah and graduated in Travel and Tourism. I am married to a loving husband and have three great children. My interests include traveling whenever I get the opportunity, skiing, scrapbooking, cooking, (sometimes experimental) reading and spending time with friends. I love attending our family reunions and making memories with family members.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon by loving parents who set a wonderful example of family life for me. My parents have always been practicing Mormons and served in various responsibilities in our church. They provided a happy fulfilled life for me and I want to do the same for my children. I know our Heavenly Father loves me, knows me and cares about me. I love knowing that my family relationships can be forever.

How I live my faith

I try daily to live my faith. I am far from perfect but I try to make good choices. Currently I am president of our women's organization in our congregation. Our presidency and board members are responsible for teaching and caring for the women in our congregation. We have lessons every Sunday to help the women increase their spirituality and hold activities throughout the month that encourage the women to have fun, socialize, provide service, develop talents and strengthen their own families. We also organize the women to visit each other during the month to give a spiritual message and a personal visit in women’s homes. I truly believe that women are incredible and I am blessed to work with and visit women in our area. Currently our oldest son is serving a mission for our church. He is happy to be serving and loves the people of Germany. We support his decision to serve a two year mission. We miss him but know he is serving our Heavenly Father and trying to spread the message of joy and happiness of the gospel to others. We do have contact with him weekly via email and look forward to hearing of his experiences.
