Hi I'm Meredith

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU in Speech Therapy, and now I am a mom of 2. I worked for a couple years in an Elementary School, while my husband finished school. Now I am working hard raising an almost 3 year old and a new born. They are the most precious kids and I love all the new things they do every day. I love to watch movies and am teaching myself to be crafty. I am really enjoying learning how to sew and have made some really fun things for my kids. I am always looking for fun things to do, but right now I spend almost all of my time on my kids and my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church, so I have had a wonderful upbringing. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He is my older brother who knows me and loves me. I believe that my Father in Heaven is always there and hears and answers my prayers. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet who saw our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today and he is the Lord's mouthpiece. I am so grateful to know that families can be together forever. My family is so important to me and I want to be with them for all eternity, not just for this life. I am so grateful for the gospel and for all of the blessings I receive by being a member of the church. I am able to concentrate on things that really matter in my life and not be distracted by things that can harm my body and my life. It is too important to be a good mom, wife, sister, daughter, and friend than to get involved in things that I don't need to waste my time with. This gospel is the greatest blessing and I am so thankful I have been able to live my life following its teachings.

How I live my faith

I have been so blessed to be able to work with the Young Women in our church age 14-15. These girls are so wonderful! I was able to teach them on Sunday and to be with them for fun activities on Wednesday night. Being a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and a friend has been such a great blessing. Every young girl has drama in their life and I am glad the girls have felt that they could talk to me. I have also been able to meet so many wonderful friends. I just had a baby and so many friends from church brought dinners and other goodies. I was able to do this for another friend who just had a baby. It is wonderful that I can help someone else the same way that others had helped me just a month earlier.
