Hi I'm Kathleen

I grew up in Michigan. I live in Arizona. I'm going to school to be an English teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was married 17 years ago in the Washington D.C. Temple. I have four children, a daughter and three sons. I am going to school to be an English teacher. My hobbies are photography and baking. I like to be crafty and make a lot of crafts with my friend. I like to go hiking and camping. I am a cub scout leader and I love it! It is one of the greatest things in the world. I love baseball and watching my two youngest sons play. My oldest son is now playing football so I have a new sport to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom joined the church when I was 3 years old. Everything about this religion has always been second nature to me. I feel so blessed to have been able to grow up in the church. I have seen so many blessings in my life and the knowledge I have of the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me through the hard times. Even though I pretty much grew up in the church, when I was 17 I had the greatest experience of really gaining my own testimony. One that would stand on it's own. I always believed the church was true, but the experiences I had that summer left me with the knowledge that it was. The spirit confirmed it to me and then it became a little bit more than just going on faith alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to live in accordance with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I go to church every Sunday and during the week I have a calling as the 9 year old scout leader. I also try to show my children, by my example, how important my faith is to me.
