Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and more importantly I'm a father of two wonderful Girls and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a CRNA and although I live in Kansas where there are not a lot of mountains, I am an avid skier. I have two wonderful daughters and a sweet wife. We are living in Lenexa Kansas and trying to beat the heat. Since I spend so much of my time in a cold operating room doing anesthesia for all types of patients, I find it a trial to deal with some of the brutal summer temperatures here in the Heartland of America. I served a Mission for the Church for two years in Bordeaux France (the whole southwest Corner of France)

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because it allows me to first hand tell people about my love and testimony of Jesus Christ. I find the most joy in talking about and pondering His life and mission as Savior of the World and I find it a faith builder to remind people that we as Mormons, do believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the only true cornerstone of our religion. I enjoyed telling people about this wonderful good news in France where I served a mission telling the wonderful people there about the good news of the gospel."La Bonne Nouvelle" I love and have faith in Jesus Christ and being a Mormon allows me to tell people about it! I love being a Mormon and I love the Book of Mormon that is another Testament about Jesus Christ and his visit to the American Continent. I am grateful Joseph Smith had the courage to translate it and bring it forth and it is wonderful to have so much more information about THE person we Praise and Honor---Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be good example and to allow people to see what a disciple of Jesus Christ looks like. I try to be a good example so that when people wonder what Mormons are like, they can look at me and think..."wow, they aren't so weird...OK so he is a little weird but Mormons themselves aren't so weird.." Hee-hee. I enjoy life and I enjoy laughing and being kind to those around me. I love to tell people about what I believe and I never want to be seen as someone who is unapproachable about religion and who has a sour outlook of life. I try to be good and make good decisions so that they who know me want to become better acquainted with Jesus Christ because they know me and they know that I believe in Jesus Christ.

Are Mormons Christians?

I love telling people that we are a Christ Centered religion and that we believe all the records of Jesus Christ in the Bible and we supplement that knowledge by the record of Jesus Christ in the America's. I try to remind people that the Book of Mormon is just another testament of Jesus Christ like the Bible but at a different location, which makes perfect sense because He loves all his children not just those in Jerusalem. I love and honor Jesus Christ and I realize and revere the fact that he is the author and finisher of my salvation..no other person is as important as HIM in my life. Show more Show less
